Nairobi National Park
Perhaps the only National Park that lies within a capital city, the Nairobi National Park is only 7 kms from the city center. The park covers 113 sq. kms and hosts large predators like the lion, cheetah, and leopard. There are also large herds of zebras, buffalos, giraffes and wilder beasts.

The black rhino can also be spotted. The park also hosts the rhino sanctuary.

There are many birds and plant species and the park is punctuated with beautiful plains, cliffs and forests. There are several picnic sites within the park.
